This week see’s Automechanika Birmingham open its doors to visitors for the first time post-pandemic. It is also the first time that SMP Europe has exhibited our leading engine management and ignition product portfolio at the show. You can find our stand in Hall 20, Stand D98.
Visitors to the first day of Automechanika were be able to get hands on with a variety of our product lines, including our new manufactured EGR Valves, Air Mass Meters and new NOx Sensor ranges (full list of product on display below). Our knowledgable and friendly team across a number of departments have also been available on stand to answer questions and provide information on product, engineering, sales, customer service provisions and our portfolio of in-house brands, including, Intermotor, Lemark and Lucas.
Martin Turner, Marketing Director, said: “We’re pleased to have joined the roster at Automechanika Birmingham for the first time to demonstrate our engineering and manufacturing processes and expertise, across prototyping, testing and distribution, to the wider UK automotive aftermarket industry. The first day of the show was a huge success and we are really looking forward to the rest of the week”
With a spacious and open stand, visitors are able to get up close to our product displays, with the opportunity to handle and inspect our components first hand to really get a feel for our engineering and manufacturing capability. With a plethora of materials available for people to take away, and handy QR codes on each display linked to digital versions, we believe that our knowledge and expertise is truly on show for all to see.
“We are showcasing a number of our manufactured ranges at Automechanika Birmingham on stand D98 in Hall 20, which have been produced by our engineering team at the SMP Europe HQ, showing off our validation process along with our 3D printing and milling capabilities, as well as this we will have representation of all key departments on stand across the course of the week, to make sure that visitors have the opportunity to meet the people behind our product and find the answers to any questions they may have” Turner adds.
As well as displays and information points, SMP Europe are also offering visitors the chance to win a four ball at our upcoming golf day, to be held at UK top 100 course: Hollinwell (Notts) Golf Club on the 12th July.
