SMP Europe is highlighting its latest range expansion in its leading ignition and engine management ranges. The company, home of the Lucas, Lemark and Intermotor brands, has added nine new part numbers to it product portfolio to offer wider coverage of the ever-growing car parc.
The latest range expansion from SMP Europe includes eight ignition coils and one new air mass meter.
SMP Europe’s new air mass meter, references 19888 (Intermotor), MAFS559-OE (Fuel Parts), EAM286 (Kerr Nelson), LMF346 (Lemark) and FDM5062 (Lucas), covers popular passenger car applications, including Lexus GS / LC / LS / RC / RX, Subaru Impreza / XV, Toyota Camry, and Volvo S60 / S90 / V40 / V60 / V90 / XC40 / XC60, 1.6 / 2.0 / 3.5 / 5.0 engines, 2015 – models.
Eight new ignition coils have been added to the range, such as part numbers 12240 (Intermotor), CU1612 (Fuel Parts), IIS588 (Kerr Nelson), CP502 (Lemark) and DMB5064 (Lucas), to fit Lexus GS / LC / LS / RC / RX, 2.0 engine 2015 -, references 12246 (Intermotor), CU1618 (Fuel Parts), IIS594 (Kerr Nelson), CP508 (Lemark) and DMB5070 (Lucas), suitable for Hyundai i30 / Santa Fe / Tucson and Kia Optima / Sorento / Sportage / Stinger, 2.0 / 2.4 engine, 2015 –.
Part numbers 12250 (Intermotor), CU1622 (Fuel Parts), IIS598 (Kerr Nelson), CP512 (Lemark) and DMB5074 (Lucas) have also been introduced to cover luxury applications Ferrari 458 and Maserati Gran Turismo / Grancabrio / Gransport, 4.5 engine, 2007 – .
The team is also highlighting part numbers 12257 (Intermotor), CU1629 (Fuel Parts), IIS604 (Kerr Nelson), CP519 (Lemark) and DMB5081 (Lucas), suitable for 3.0 engined Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Defender / Discovery / Range Rover / Velar 2019 – models and references 12258 (Intermotor), CU1630 (Fuel Parts), IIS606 (Kerr Nelson), CP520 (Lemark) and DMB5082 (Lucas), to fit Vauxhall / Opel Astra, 1.2 engine, 2019 -.

The latest new additions prove SMP Europe’s status as a trusted authority on engine management and ignition products, following growth within the company’s engineering team.
At its Centre of Engineering Excellence in Nottingham, the team of four has grown to a team of 16 in recent years, and additional investment has also seen the implementation of 3D printing to assist in rapid product prototyping, fitment testing and in house custom tooling.
To keep up with demand the company offers a next-day delivery service from its European distribution facility in Poland for faster parts delivery to customers.
